Every six years, representatives of the Ursulines of the Roman Union from different provinces gather together at the Generalate in Rome, Italy, for the General Chapter.

With the aim of deciding and setting the direction of the Congregation for the next six years. After the meeting, there is a Chapter message which serves as a guide for each Ursuline province in living out its life. The Ursulines of the Roman Union, Thailand Province, has used it to set the theme of the annual campaign for the sisters, and also for everyone involved in the educational mission, both in the formal school system and in non-formal education.

Starting from the 2001 Chapter message onwards until the Congregation's most recent Chapter in 2019, when the assembly proclaimed “Our Road Map” for living in unity as Ursulines of the Roman Union around the world.
